I mean, I wish I were any of these lovely flowers, but I am just kale; humble, tough, maybe a little bitter, but my roots are strong and I made it through another dismal f*ing pandemic winter, turning rain and mud into fresh green growth, hung on long enough to flower cheery little yellow blossoms that whisper, hopefully, “I’m still here.”
This is beautiful and the end gave me chills!
Really enjoying the beginning of jacaranda season in LA!
Clover, wishing I could be a lilac.
That said, metaphors aside, I’ve always found clover to be such a surprise. They are so small and unassuming, but they’re wonderfully intricate, life-giving for so many creatures, and their smell is heavenly.
I’m definitely Clover. I love being there for rabbits and cows. And no matter how hard the “winter”, I keep coming back year after year.
I’m such a tulip! Friendly, polite, total city girl who would love to live in a nice, downtown hotel.
I would dream to be a lilac but Im a brave crocus.
I am SUCH a tulip
Sweet
I’m a bouquet in a pottery vase.
My first grade teacher’s name was (still is!) Cynthia and she told us she always though Forsythias were ‘for Cynthias’. I’ve remembered this ever since.
So sweet!
I am such a crocus.
Buttercup: early wildflower to brighten your trail.
Hello Buttercup! Your Clover’s field companion. Happy Spring to everyone. đź’ž
spot on, and so cute.
I’d like to imagine myself as lavender, a calming, steady force of nature. Easy growing and easy-going.
Me too! And flourishes in summer…
Yes! This is a fantastic flower round-up, Grace! Wishing I was a lilac but am more of a tulip!
I don’t know which one I am, but we’re all definitely clover:)
I don’t know which one I am, but we’re all definitely “clover”
I’d like to be a tulip hanging out at nice restaurants and hotels…but I’m more of a crocus happily living life in rural CT.
Hahaha saaaaame
Awwww! Grace, this is my favorite one ever!!! (Calling it better than enneagram numbers!) thank you Cup of Jo!
