I have a recommendation for the perfect black pants (or trousers as I would call them) following on from a previous post. These could be for leisure or work or anything really. I don’t know how easy they are to get shipped to US but for UK readers they are 👌. They go up to size 22. Cheap as chips. Great quality and super comfy. The Marks and Sparks underwear I bought in London years ago are still holding on. On a later trip, they seem to have been of a lesser quality. Maybe M&S decided selling lasting quality would lose them customers.
Dill pickle chips are one of the national chip flavours of Canada! After ketchup chips of course. Glad it made its way south of the border. Do you have ketchup chips? “Everything” chips?

i don’t think American’s have the delicacy known as “all dressed” either! the new Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle is the best flavour to ever be invented!
I brought dill pickle chips to one of my daughter’s wrestling meets a couple years ago and they were such a hit that I’ve never not brought them since! They’ve become a much loved tradition ❤️

Ha! Same reaction, Dill Pickle flavour is old as dirt in Canada haha. But Ruffles brand All Dressed are the pinnacle of chip flavours.
I think it was here (it’s ALWAYS here) that someone recommended The Turning as a podcast listen, about nuns who left Mother Teresa’s order. It was FASCINATING and, I felt, respectfully handled.
My latest flavor hack is red pepper jelly on everything: on bagels, tortillas with eggs and turkey bacon, on a cream cheese spread, straight off the spoon.

The Turning was VERY GOOD.
Phototexts from a friend at the grocery store with the newest LaCroix flavor (Beach Plum!). Read between the lines and the message really says “I know what you love and I’m thinking about you right now.” The best!
Have we talked about the thing where you cut crisp green grapes in half, toss them with lime juice, then freeze them and by some witchery they come out tasting just like Sour Patch Kids? Could be my all-time favorite kitchen spell.
My other random rec: If you’re the kind of person who (cough) hoards good-looking glass vessels from cup sake, use them as toothbrush cups and doodad catch-alls in your medicine cabinet! They’re narrow (perfect for small shelves) and tall (perfect for oddly-shaped stuff). And cute. Crucially, they are cute.
