I recently splurged on Lisa Eldridge’s luxuriously lucent lipstick in Painterly. It’s a gorgeous color that I LOVE. I feel like it looks so good on me it’s like it was custom made. Worth every penny. The lux gold case with magnetic close doesn’t hurt either.

I’ve barely worn any lipstick since the beginning of the pandemic and i miss it so much !

But I’ve been working on my eyeliner and eye shadow game instead… maybe that’s an idea for a tutorial post ? I still haven’t pined down THE method for a perfect cat-eye haha

I haven’t been wearing lipstick since March 2020 – masks and all. When the time comes to start wearing it, I am going to come back to these comments for good lipsticks. All of the l!ipsticks sound wonderful

I go nowhere these days but still wear lipstick for myself, at home alone in my sweatsuits. It’s a mood boost! And after a friend’s cancer diagnosis this year, I have stopped waiting for excuses to use the nice things! So I’m wearing my favorite lipstick just for myself and my cats lol, and no longer “saving” the nice wine or waiting for a chance to wear my new fancy earrings when the pandemic is over…cause will it ever be? Life is happening now.

Color wise, obsessed with LA color’s in Matte Brick. Genuinely the most flattering thing I’ve ever put on my face and it’s $5.

Chanel’s Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme in Endless mixed with a little chapstick. I blot it on my lips to give them a stained look in the rosey shade. A perfect pick me up for when the day is grey.

Glossier Generation G in Cake makes me feel…what are the words?! Put together, understated and sexy.

I also haven’t worn lipstick since March 2020. The one time I did (classic MAC ruby red) my husband said my face looked weird (thanks honey!).

What I did hve done was my eyelashes coloured since that’s what people can see, and after a terrible damp weather / mask / mascara incident, I’ve been reluctant to use mascara

Not wearing lipstick these days because of masks, boooo. But the positive thing is that I have learned to do eye makeup on myself that is quick and lovely! (Thanks to teenage daughter in the house for that help, ha!)

I just love Lisa Eldridge’s lipsticks! They are expensive, but just perfect – beautiful colours, perfect texture and they make you feel so sexy!

Love the idea of lipstick but who’s even wearing it these days? I haven’t been in public without a mask in pretty much 2 years!

Marcelle has some wonderful nude colours that I like to wear during the winter months. They’re moist and revitalize my lips. Nevertheless going out I love a deep mauve to compliment my eyes.

Seriously? How would I wear lipstick with a mask? At home? No. I do miss it.

I found the perfect tinted balm while visiting Stockmann’s in Helsinki and bought as many as I could. Hydracolor SPF 25 in classic red #49. It’s the best, and so inexpensive! I dread running out as I don’t think it’s available where I live.

Clinique “Surprise” is my go to. It’s what my mom wears too and that was one of the main reasons why I first started wearing it!

I’ve been trying to up my Zoom presence with lipstick but I’ve always been kind of on/off with it so I’m struggling. I mostly hate the ones I have so I’m taking notes from all these suggestions!

I am also a lipstick lover and everyday I would want some color on my lips. But color would really depend on my mood for the day.
Few of the shades I have mostly used these days are- MyGlamm Crayon in shades Biscotti (Warm nude) and Debutante (Dusty pink)- velvety matte texture- super comfortable for winters, Loreal’s Pure Red(for bright red look) and No Rage(love this warm rust shade). Also enjoying few shades from Maybelline like Touch of Spice, Enjoy the View- overall I just lipsticks 😁 Summer or Winter, Fall or Spring 😊😇🥰

I have been loving Glow Recipe Lip Pop. It exfoliates, smoothes and gives a little bit of tint. At about $20 it was a bit of a splurge for me but it has really worked for me.

I’ve recently fallen in love with Olio E Osso’s tinted balms when I found one on sale. (I have the shades French Melon and Crimson, and am waiting on Spring and Dusty Rose to arrive in the mail). They have great ingredients, are really moisturizing, and can be applied without a mirror.

I look forward to post-pandemic days when, in addition to all the other activities I’m missing, I can wear lipstick out and about again. In the meantime, when I’m double masked at the elementary school where I work, I don’t want to stain all the masks. For a creamy lipstick, I’ve really liked Kosas in Rosewater. I tried a number of Ilia’s lipsticks but found the colors didn’t flatter me and the scent was off-putting. I suppose the scent of lip products is just as important to me as the clean ingredients!

I RARELY wear nude lipsticks. They are normally reserved for really special events like weddings. My philosophy with lipstick is “whats the point if you cant see it”. So i wear the most. My go tos are red, purple and black.

Because of masks, I’ve been wearing a lot of tinted lips. I really like Le Lip Tint by French Girl in Ambre Rose. It’s a nice plum-ish color that accentuates my natural color.
