Which would you be? By the wonderful Grace Farris.
P.S. The funniest Halloween costume, and four fall traditions.

I am so sorry but after having my first vaginal birth this summer (my other child was c-section), a cluster of grapes is no longer a good costume idea… no one warned me about this postpartum possibility! Haha
Grabbed a random tiger face mask out of a bin of my children’s dress-up stuff and wore it with my regular old raincoat. I was the Tiger Mother.
haha debating this minute whether to go to a Halloween party tonight and it all depends on whether I can pull together something without going to the shops.
My kids (2 and 4) both want to be a “calico cat IN A LITTER PAN.” They have talked about this for 10 months, and since I have yet to get it together, this is definitely a last-minute costume, but not the good kind! The ears (still unmade) nearly gave me a migraine today! Um, is it horrible to wish for a freak 1991-esque snowstorm?! (We even had snow in Oklahoma at Halloween back then!)
Hilarious
Hahaha! So funny & cute–love Grace so much!
Two of the first nine comments on this post reference a blizzard in Minneapolis in 1991!! I am cracking up! The world is so beautifully small so much of the time…
Wow totally. And they both involve the cluster of grapes costume!
One year I went as procrastination. I just showed up.
Love this!
Hahahhaha… Love this!!
Babe magnet. Cut out a bunch of pics of celebs and pin to top. Done.
Hahaha! My sister was a cluster of grapes for Halloween in 1991, the year of the infamous Halloween blizzard in Minnesota. She had a purple winter coat, so she stayed nice and warm and got just a ton of candy since so few kids were out trick-or-treating. Our neighbor snapped a photo of her standing on the front step and grinning with snow piling up on the individual “grapes.” We displayed the photo in our dining room for years!
My favorite last minute costume — a Freudian slip. Wear a slip and use safety pins to attach pieces of paper with all kinds of Freud quotes or words/phrases like “id” “ego.”
hahah def. old reliable bunch of grapes. LOL i didn t realize it was an old reliable but ive been it before and ill be it again!
In first grade I desperately wanted to be grapes with a buck of purple balloons. I ended up getting sick that Halloween. It was also the year of the Mpls/St. Paul big Halloween snowstorm, so it all worked out, haha.
PS- Big thanks to my older sisters who trudged through the deep snow to trick-or-treat & brought me some candy.
I will be breaking out my trusty muggle costume.
Oh that’s a good one!
Season 1 Felicity wore very comfy clothes!
Off-duty witch! 🥰
