I’m so moved by this comment and the countless others here. Commenting today for the very first time because I’m curious, Laura, if you’d be willing to connect – I realize I’m just a random stranger but I’m also considering/dreaming about a complete career shift in my late 30s with young children and would love to learn more about your journey to becoming a therapist in this chapter in your life. I’ve read so much inspiring content on COJ on career changes and yet have never been brave enough to make the leap. Somewhere in the interview you mentioned that instead of ‘goodbye’ or ‘take care’, she said something much more touching and heartfelt like, “take gentle care of yourself.” I’ve been using that sign-off ever since.
