Maternity Jumpsuits

Lol im pregnant and been wearing jumpsuits all week, I like to wear a T-shirt underneath now that is fall so I don’t feel as naked in the toilet

First time ever commenting but.. for the frequent peeing when pregnant, either a maternity support belt or wearing tight-ish yoga shorts helps to lift the weight of the belly. I took a 4 hour car ride at 36 weeks and I only had ONE restroom break!
Also for jumpsuits once the arms slip off I roll the top down (kind of like rolling down socks) and that makes it a lot easier in the toilet – I wear them all the time, pregnant or not and this helps a lot!

Lol, I can totally relate to this. made me rmember the question my little boy asked my wife. But they really do look cute though.

So true! And also postpartum…my pelvic floor is in shambles.

Such memories of being pregnant! Tried to take a bus to meet friends for lunch late in my pregnancy. I had to get off the bus find a restroom and get back on the next bus four times! I was very late to lunch!!!

I am laughing and laughing cause it comes back around. I am 62 and found my self considering getting some cute overalls. Nope. Takes to long to get out of them when I need to go.

This is THE MOST relatable. But worth it to not have anything tight around my waist!

I’m just over 29 weeks pregnant with my third, and I am DESPERATE for a jumpsuit with a crotch that has snaps or buttons. Anything with a waistband is too tight, and no dresses work because I’m still chasing/climbing/clambering after my 5yo and 3yo and prefer not to have said crotch visible for the world to see. Any tips would be a godsend!

Since having my child, I wonder why don’t adult jumpsuits have snaps like all baby clothes do?? Baby jumpsuits are clearly made with practicality in mind for diaper changes; logic tells me mine should be that easy to navigate too.

Maternity overalls solve this problem! Still very cute, but less naked things happening in the bathroom. Also great for postpartum. Ain’t no new mama got time for a jumpsuit when breastfeeding, pumping, or catching drool on your shoulder.

Thanks goodness for anonymous comments. When I was pregnant my hubby bought me a cute denim jumpsuit. We decided to take it out for a stroll in the park. Something I’d eaten wasn’t agreeing with me and we decided to hurry home for the bathroom. Halfway through our walk I realized I wasn’t gonna make it. I stopped in my tracks, pretended to look at my phone with my husband standing beside me and proceeded to drop a load right into my new jumpsuit. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry. It felt like forever. Hubby took off his jacket and wrapped it around my waist and walked behind me to make sure no one noticed.

Last time I ever wear a jumpsuit!

Maternity overalls yes, with a shirt under but not in winter. I’m very tall so jumpsuits are not my jam, pregnant or not. I have found Jersey jumpsuits at the thrift store and cut them off at the elastic waist. Instant flowy pants with pockets and instant casual crop top/bra.

Haha, oh this is the truth. They do look cute and are sooo comfy, but there’s nothing quite like heaving yourself up from the toilet, naked with that big ol’ belly out, in a work bathroom stall.

Exactly why I never wear a jumpsuit to work anymore. Sitting naked in the work bathroom worrying about whether I actually locked the door is torture. Love to see my favorite illustrator on insta right now @coilyandcute

It is very weird when you bring your toddlers into the stall with you, and you have to strip just to pee. Jumpsuits: very cute and totally impractical.

Sometimes I feel like COJ reads my mind. I’m pregnant for the first time (!!)- 14 weeks and not maternity clothes time yet but also not comfortable in my pre-pregnancy clothes either. We just had to start going back to the office after 2.5 years of remote work and I was like what do I wear?! So this week I wore a jumpsuit, thinking oh this will be great with nothing pressing on my stomach but still “work cute”. Well this picture describes me perfectly that day! Plus- I forgot how exposed you feel when you have to get NAKED in the stall at work every time you pee!! SO funny because I was just telling a girlfriend about my poor outfit choice going back and then I came on here and saw this! :)

I loved my jumpsuit for the last trimester of pregnancy (even with the stripping off). My baby was born in January so for the last few weeks the jumpsuit was the only thing that would cover my whole belly and stop me from getting cold. Even maternity tops couldn’t cut it

By my third trimester, my husband and I could only take walks at parks that had bathrooms. I would inevitably need to pee at least once during our 30 minute walk.

Ironically I’m pregnant and wore a jumpsuit yesterday. Not nearly as cute as the illustration since at 15 weeks I’m not really showing, but unfortunately a bit more practical. I actually mentioned to my husband that with my struggle to stay hydrated (yay morning sickness) the jumpsuit was working better for me than ever before since I rarely had to pee. Wouldn’t recommend, but funny that we had this very related conversation just yesterday.
