We’d been sampling pink paints to do exactly this in our basement – walls, ceilings, and doors. When this article came out I walked that night to get samples of this color and the shade lighter (no windows in our basement = light was going to play differently). Just finished painting it palazzo pink, Mexican tile’s sister color, and I can not say enough good things. It’s this gorgeous muddy pink that welcomes you to stay and not leave.

Me too! I did a bit of sleuthing and I think it is the Imogen tote from Ulla Johnson. I thought at first it was all tan, but on closer inspection (peering at my phone screen) like the style where one third is black, the middle tan and the other a lighter mustardy brown. The strap detail seems pretty specific to Ulla Johnson bags.

I love this shade of pink and also Benjamin Moore paint! We painted our large, high-ceiling living room BM “Gentle Blush” years ago. It’s the delicate pink of the inside of a seashell – it’s delightful.
