I have an Alex Mill version of this jacket in indigo blue – I wear my casually over black leggings, with brown Sorel tall/rugged boots and over a lighter blue button-up/denim-ish shirt. It works well under my winter coats also! Now I am contemplating getting the black one!

Leah I think you could wear as a part of your outfit – no need to take it off like an outdoor coat unless you just got hot. It’s a cool piece that I think would make casual outfits more polished. Could be worn with dress pants or jeans, or even over a shift dress. Hope that helps!
