I’ve returned to this home tour half a dozen times as I try to make decisions for our first owned home. I am so drawn to how real and joyful this home looks — world’s away from the perfectly styled or impossibly trendy places that we usually see online. And it looks great! And so loved and cozy and lived in and happy.

All this to say: thank you, Catherine for sharing your home. It’s given me a fully achievable “house goal,” which is to live and love in my home and hope all of that love shows through.

I really respect and appreciate your self-awareness and the thought you put into your reaction. My thought was ‘I wonder if they did go an donate $5000?’ Not that it necessarily matters, since it was just her thought process, but that’s where my head went.
