My brother, who lives in France, was out for a walk with his 2 year old daughter when they came across a sheep in the middle of a field that had gotten stuck on its back. So of course he saved the sheep, and his little girl now thinks he’s the biggest hero and talks of nothing else but this epic sheep rescue. So guess who’s getting a pair of sheep Hanna’s for her birthday? Now if only they came in my brother’s size…

I love the pjs from Bonds. The patterns are adorable, they fit and last forever. My son is in 12-18 month clothes and he can still fit in 3-6month Bonds pjs because they have a foldover option in the legs.

We have a tradition we call “Jammie Lights” where we all wear pajamas and drive around looking at lights. I pick a random night to do it and surprise the kiddos with new jammies. Do I use this as an excuse to buy nice jammies from Hanna Anderson? Yes, yes I do.

My girls love June and January pajamas. They’re so soft and comfortable! J&J does smaller batches of clothing so you may find them out of the size you need from time to time but just hang on a little bit and they’ll restock with new, fun colors and patterns.

Why are most pajamas ‘slim fit’? I suspect I know the answer, likely due to not wanting to have loose clothing be a fire hazard. tho I’m not sure why that is a thing exactly, I have never known anyone to have their house burned down at night. Designing all bedtime apparel due to that remote chance seems silly. My boy is a big kid. Very tall, and not the lanky kind, Slim fit just doesn’t work. Pajamas are the thing that is impossible to find, so he mostly wears soft regular shorts and shirts to bed and misses out on the ‘cozy pajama’ thing :(

I just spend a few days in Paris and got matching Petit Bateau jammies for my kids (and, tbh, me 😀 ) bery cute and comfy for all ages!

These are so cute. Also can I just say please don’t buy snap close jammies for babies (especially newborn size) as a gift unless you hate their parents. No one needs to attempt matching that many snaps in the middle of the night when you’re already sleep deprived.

Does anyone have any fav cotton nightgowns for kids? My daughter is desperate for one but I keep finding polyester.

I love Burt’s bees pajamas. They are affordable and have a ton of cute organic cotton prints but do label them girl/boy which is a bummer. I haven’t found the sizing to be different so we definitely have some butterfly and floral ones for my baby boy as well as boats, chickens and mountains! Hoping they become more with it and ditch the labels.

I’m obsessed with this Old Navy rainbow dinosaur PJ set. I got matching ones for my son and daughter, and they’re so cute and sweet for kids of any gender. I love softer colors on little boys and am so glad to find more out there than even just a few years ago.

Mom hack (especially if your kid is in the growth spurt phase)- join up on mom’s groups and search Facebook marketplace and check out local thrift shops for secondhand PJs! I don’t think I’ve spent more than $3 on my daughter’s current pajamas. At this age she outgrows stuff overnight so it’s just not worth spending loads of money for a specific style right now. Plus it’s better for the environment to buy used when possible. Win-win :)

I love Avauma jammies on Amazon! So thick, stretchy, and comfortable and they come in cool, modern colors and stripes.

Hanna Andersson gets all the 😍😍😍 but it’s also all the $$$. I wait until end of season and buy a few things on super sale in bigger sizes for the next year.

For most things, we borrow from friends; I found a thrift store by my office with $1 kids clothes; I have a few saved searches on Mercari; Carter’s has free ship to store so I will peruse online clearance and pick up in person; for basics I wait for sales at Target. It doesn’t have to cost a ton to have cute, soft, warm options!

I adore Burt’s Bees Baby jammies for my toddler and baby ~~ they offer the softest and sweetest (organic cotton, sustainably made) gender~neutral prints in lovely, gentle watercolors, and are generally less than $20!

We love little sleepies! They are on the pricier size but my kid is 15 months old and still fits in his 3-6 month pair! It’s wild. They are soft and snuggly too, with super cute patterns. I was a skeptic at first but love them now!

I love Wee Woolies (https://www.weewoollies.com/)! They are pricey, but we have gotten sooo much use out of ours. They are super comfy merino wool, fun colours, and a small family business :)

My baby boy was born in February 2021. We’ve enjoyed Little Planet by Carter’s PJs for many months. I loved that they had gender neutral options at a reasonable price. There are so many cute PJs for littles out there from companies whose missions I support but that are so $$$. At this time I am unable to justify spending $40 on a set of PJs when we’re already in our 5th size in 8 months.
