I do something similar! Every time I’m out and about and realize that I’m feeling good about my clothes, I make note of what I’m wearing in my “Outfits I feel great in” note in my phone!
It’s perfect for those days when I feel like I have nothing to wear.

I am CRACKING UP at that comment about the Slovakian picnic. I relate so much: I once went on a trip to Morocco and had to engage in a highly awkward game of charades with a pharmacy worker (who spoke only Arabic and French, while I spoke only English and Spanish), because I needed laxatives. Still makes me laugh to this day. Sometimes the language barrier is just too funny.

Before we go I always search for free events happening. There’s always tons! I also look for paid events – and take part in some. We stood in line for cheap theater tickets once and that was so worth it.
Many years ago my son – then 13 – and I ushered for the Blue Man Group and go to see the show for free. There’s going to be more to do than you’ll have time for! Have fun!
