She has amazing personal style. I’ve been following her IG ever since and love all the baking inspo she provided over the pandemic. I don’t live in NYC so I never got to try her desserts at Altro Paradiso or Flora Bar. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to try her amazing looking cakes

there are SO many beautiful baking books out this season – erin mcdowell “savory baking,” JR ryall “ballymaloe desserts,” tara jansen’s “flour power” are some of my favorites that are out so far. claudia fleming “sweet and savory baking” and the next claire saffitz book are out later this month and no doubt they will be phenomenal as well!

YES!! love this so much. i feel the propaganda around the female body shape as fruit (apples, pears, bananas?!) is so reductive and toxic and has clouded my own self perception my whole adult life! may we all have wild giant purple pants!
