Wow I’m way late to the party but couldn’t resist adding a tip about lipsticks that won’t yellow out your teeth.

When you’re choosing reds, go deeper than the Orangie reds. The deeper ones have a blueish hue and that’s what brings out the whiteness of teeth. Reds leaning towards purplish are the best.
Pinks, same. Go deeper rose and not hot pinkie. Light mauves are perfect. They also carry the bluish hue so makes your pearly whites pop.
Anything leaning toward an orangish has a yellow hue. That reflects off your white teeth and brings that yellowish teeth thing.

I’ve been through two sets of braces in my day, so I’m guilty of avoiding lipsticks at all costs in effort to deter folks from looking at my mouth. But now that I’m over my metal-mouth days, I’ve warmed up to lip color. I rarely do lipstick, but I like to use tinted chapstick and sometimes a minimal lip stain. I’ll have to give the finger-pat method a try here soon! Perhaps for New Years if I decide to venture out.

Try MAC Russian Red. It’s a blue-based red (I think!) and I think it makes my teeth look whiter!

I’ve got to say, Jeanne Damas’s Rouje palette is incredible. I can’t live with the Signature one. I apply on my lips and cheeks, AND the colour stays on the cheeks even if I wear my mask all day! It’s incredible and so flattering. I love everything from Rouje.

I just wear my lipstick under my mask. It makes me happier and I’ve discovered it washes out of the mask. (It’s similar, I think, to wearing nice lingerie.)
