Respectfully, maybe she just didn’t give a crap about who was looking at her cellulite and just liked wearing khakis? If you like them, wear them. Life’s too short to worry about who might possibly be giving your cellulite the side eye – though of course most of us have had a lifetime absorbing the idea that we should be ashamed of our bodies, so this doesn’t come easily.

I got these straight leg crops from Everlane in sandstone and love them: https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-straight-leg-crop-stone. Maybe more of an updated chino than a khaki? What’s the difference, technically? Anyway, the fit and material are great but I’ve found that styling-wise, I can’t really wear them with a button down. Starts to veer too much into office worker drone territory no matter how good the button down. Better with tees and half-tucked light sweaters.
