Moria, I haven’t read True Biz, but Deaf Like Me really resonated with me. Also, the documentary Sound and Fury is a heart-wrenching film that looks at an extended family where one couple considers a cochlear implant for their child, and another couple want to proudly raise their child in the Deaf culture.

I highly recommend ‘Fresh water for Flowers’ , a beautifully written novel by French author Valerie Perrin. Set in rural France it is a story about relationship – with each other, with those we love, with those whom we struggle against and in all of those the relationship we have with ourselves. A movie adaptation is in the works as well

I mean everyone covered the bases in their but the garden comment made me laugh we turned our front yard into a garden this year and the money and time that went into killing the grass, modifying the soil, planning, planting, watering, harvesting and processing all the food is unbelievable. It's a fun hobby but to suggest it as a viable option for most people to feed themselves is just plain funny to me

For anyone who loves Star Wars or even not, Andor is such a fantastic show! Even minor characters have such great characterization; I just love it when everyone has distinctive quirks. It’s exciting and the writing is so good.
